Quantum and classical random processes
2011, May 20 -- May 26
Organizers:
A. Martínez-Finkelshtein (U. Almería)
L. Velázquez (U. Zaragoza)
This Workshop intends to gather some of the leading specialists in classical and quantum random processes, especially in the areas that have benefited recently from the orthogonal polynomials approach (random matrices and growth models, non-colliding diffusion processes, quantum random walks, to mention a few). The goal is to create a working environment for exploring the possible interaction among these fields, discuss open problems and promote interdisciplinary collaboration among participants. The participation in this workshop is by invitation; interested researchers should contact one of the organizers.
