Scope of the EMBO YIP Sectorial Meeting
More than ever Cancer is a complex disease that requires a multidisciplinary approach in order to make a sufficient impact that could counterbalance its growing incidence and life-threatening consequences of its systemic dissemination.
The EMBO Cancer Sectorial Meeting is aimed to foster collaborative efforts among EMBO YIP/ IG members working on this topic but using different and complementary experimental approaches.
It is rooted in this meeting to be open and to present ongoing unpublished projects that could benefit the most from discussions among attendees. In addition, the meeting will create an informal environment to explore new collaborations that might lead to common grant applications and publications in the future.
