Over the last decade we have had remarkable progress in extending the field of application of General Relativity and in understanding various aspects of higher-dimensional gravity. Not only have we started to see many intriguing new solutions, but we are also witnessing classical gravity being applied to plasma physics and condensed matter systems. Given these developments, we feel that it is opportune to have a meeting focusing on these developments. The meeting will be aimed at taking stock of the current progress and to discuss the future directions.
This event is sponsored by the following institutions: Red Temática de Relatividad y Gravitación and the Universidad de Barcelona.
